I have been on a roll with odd yet tasty smoothies lately! This definitely fits into that category because you are going to see it and “say what!?” but I promise it is a creamy delight.
Carrot Spice Protein Smoothie
- 1.5 cups water (almond milk would be great too)
- 2 medium carrots, peeled and diced (dice small if you don’t have a high speed blender)
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (I use Sunwarrior, raw+vegan)
- Drop vanilla extract
- Dashes of cinnamon and nutmeg
Add all ingredients together and blend until smooth, add 1/2 frozen banana for even more creaminess. (Additionally, adding 1 tbsp coconut oil gives it a tropical vibe that makes it even better!).
